J&K shivers under sub-zero temp, Kargil records -18.8 deg C

There was no respite from cold wave conditions in Kashmir division today, with the minimum temperature remaining several degrees below freezing point. Kargil town, in Ladakh region of J&K, shivered at a low of minus 18.8 degrees C last night, an official of the MeT said here.
